I finished reading Kingdom Come yesterday. Old Man Batman is definitely one of my favorite characters. Why isn't there an Old Man Batman regular series? I've never bought a Batman comic, but I'd buy that.

The ending to Kingdom Come felt a bit too bright and quick. But again I'm unable to say what I would have prefered. The image of Superman going nuts and tearing down the United Nations building is great.

I've been trying to get through Gravity's Rainbow, and have been finding it pretty slow going, which bothers me a little. I'm probably too vain when it comes to books and which ones I enjoy, but everything about this novel suggests I should like it, and I do, really; but then why is it taking me so long?

My car is broken and I am going to go nuts.

And hey, Blogger has this new thing where you can get the "next blog." Well, OK. After this, apparently, is the weblog of a young Singaporean with, uh, unconventional spelling habits. And one of his friends is named Simon. It is one big crazy circle.
